Minutes of the September 12, 2005 meeting

At 7:10 Joe Cooper called the meeting to order. April Ruffino read the minutes of the August  meeting and Ray Brown gave the treasurer’s report. $900 balance.

April Ruffino read the minutes of the meeting for August because Gail Clancy resigned her position as Secretary. Gail received a promotion at her work . April will continue as secretary until the end of the year.

The Falcon Fanatics have a new grill. Joe is remodeling the grill and the trailer. Joe will bring the grill back and forth to the home games until further notice.

 The barbecue went well at the Monday night football game. There are two more Monday night football games and decision needed to be made concerning food for those two games. Either continue to cater or potluck. The club made the decision to cater the next two games with BBQ since this went over so well.

Frank made the suggestion to check Harold’s barbecue. Joe said he would check this option out.

For this year’s end of the year raffle it is a football. This football will have autographs such as Rod Coleman, T.J. Duckett, etc.  Each ticket will cost a $1.00 each.

Next year the club may decide to raffle off another Vick jersey or a T.V. or tickets, roundtrip airfair and hotel accommodations to an away game. The away game may be to the Carolina Panthers, Tampa Bay or New Orleans (when  able)

Frank had suggested planning an activity on a weekend to draw crowds to our meetings. ESPN Zone has been suggested.

Joe has gotten back in contact with Chris Demos in reference to getting players to come speak at our club meetings. The Fanatics will donate $100.00 to their charity. Joe has sent an email to Chris and hopes to get a response.

Chuck Ruffino made a motion to have our next order of t-shirts color red, voted and accepted.
