Minutes of January 13, 2004 Meeting

At 7:05pm, Joe Cooper called the meeting to order.

The new officers were announced for 2004/2005.

       President – Joe Cooper

       Vice-President – Mike Scarce

       Secretary – Gail Clancy

       Treasurer – Ray Brown

The following committee chairpersons were appointed:

       Special Events – Rod Beard

       Membership – Chuck Ruffino

       Telephone Committee – Miriam Hunt

       Media Relations – Aaron Brooks

       Raffles – Juanita Mulligan

The following chairpersons are still needed:

       Club coordinator

       Tailgate

       Newsletter editor

It was discussed and voted that the 2004 membership dues are as follows:    ****See Feb change****

    For couples with same address, singles and families  -

                     $20.00 without any shirts

                     $25.00 includes one Falcon T-shirt

                              – additional $5.00 for each T-shirt ordered.

                     An additional $28.00 for each golf shirt ordered.

New Business:

Ways were discussed to build the club and attract new members.  This will be discussed in future meetings.

         Emphasis on attracting players to speak at meetings.

         Creative first year membership pricing as an incentive to entice new members.         

         Raffles

         Membership cards

To have a better relationship with players we should consider sending birthday cards.

It was agreed in order to have smoother meetings people would raise their hand and be recognized before speaking.

Motion was made to adjourn the meeting.  It was seconded and carried and the meeting was adjourned at 8:55pm.
